I don’t have to create videos often, but when I do, I drink Dos Eq… Wait. wrong tag line. The truth is when I do have to create videos, I feel like I need a drink. It’s always been so hard. And confusing. And easy to mess up. Then I found Adobe Premiere Elements 2020.
Now, I’m not going to claim that the two videos I made so far are Academy Award material, but when I can create two videos in 10 minutes, that should be an indicator that Adobe Premiere Elements 2020 is some quality software.
Idea
I won’t lie, I chose to go the baby step route and it was super easy. First, I scrolled through and found some themes. Hey, we had a pretty decently decorated lawn for Halloween. And hey, the gosh darn elves have been routinely making a mess of our house since they showed up this year. So that was step one.
Organize
Then I had to import them. Ugh. OR not ugh. I opened up the Organizer (an app right on the Adobe Premier Home Dashboard) and it actually found all the pictures I had pulled down from my online photo library and imported them.
Create
So, I closed the Organizer and opened up the video editor right into Quick Edit mode, selected “Combine photos and videos to create a single movie,” selected my pictures, and I had a video. Seriously, I had a video. It was seriously that easy. It defaulted to showing each photo for 5 seconds. I changed that to 3. It had a button to “Add music.” I clicked it, found some I liked and added some music.
I did that twice. In 10 minutes. It was that easy. Have I only scratched the surface? Absolutely. But the thing is, scratching the surface only took me 10 minutes. I’ve used other video editing programs. And scratching the surface took me 2 days. And even though I’ve only scratched the surface, I am eager to explore and see what it really can do. Effects. Transitions. Fades. I can’t wait.
If you have ever thought that creating a good video was out of your reach, I encourage you to try out Adobe Premiere Elements 2020. It will change your mind about how easy and simple it can be. Check it out at Best Buy today: https://bby.me/dgzqa
Disclaimer: I was provided the software and compensated in the form of a Best Buy gift card, however all opinions are my own. If this software sucked and was hard to use, I would say so. It wasn’t.
