When I drive anywhere I always make sure I take my car in for service. Let them know I am traveling to check everything.

I don’t have a emergency kit but I do have a bag in the car with somestuff in case.

Also I am a fan on having A REAL PAPER MAP………… I know a lot of people don’t know how to use them but they should learn. I have had times that I do not have phone service.
