Your life is all about your children. That is completely normal and the way it should be. But that doesn’t mean that you have to stop living. Being a glamorous mommy is the way forward.

Many women let go of their style when they become mothers. Taking care of their little ones gets in the way, but you don’t have to be like them. Taking care of children is a full-time job (and then some). If you feel like you’ve begun to look more like a mom and less like a person, then you need a change. It is quite easy to make a few changes to your look for the better.

Of course, an issue that all mothers face is a lack of time, so here are a few tips that mean you don’t have to waste too much time. With these simple tips, you can look fabulous everyday.

1. High Heels + Jeans = Ultimate Glamour

Wearing a dress just isn’t practical while you’re taking care of children. Unfortunately, you are going to need to opt for pants for a while. On the bright side, dark jeans, and high heel shoes are the ultimate in casual glamour. If you have recently had children this style also works to make you look slimmer. The jeans are slim fit and the heels make your legs look longer.

Opt for a sensible sized heel. You shouldn’t need more than three inches. A smaller heel means that you can still run around without your children.

2. Get That Statement Diamond

A diamond is timeless and classic. Rather than over-accessorizing and ending up looking over-dressed, you should invest in one piece. A diamond ring or necklace is a great item to invest in because you can wear it every day and it will never get old. Paired with your heels and jeans, this statement diamond item will look gorgeous and make you look like a celebrity. When you are out with the children, you can’t deal with too many accessories, so one piece will stand out. If you are struggling to find a quality diamond, don’t worry. Visit Whiteflash for a large selection of diamonds in Houston where you can find your ideal piece.

3. Find A Quick Hair Routine

Making your hair look like you’ve spent hours on it, when you’ve only got minutes is possible. As a mother, you just don’t have the time to spend on creating new hairstyles every single day. Instead find one quick hair routine, on which you can rely on a day to day basis. You will need to use dry shampoo when you don’t have the time to wash your hair in the morning. Luckily, dry shampoo makes your hair look clean in seconds. A simple pinned up hairstyle may be the ideal option for you. Research fast hairstyling online for more tips.

4. Invest In Designer Sunglasses

There will be mornings when you feel like you haven’t slept at all. That is the reality of being a mother; sometimes you need to sacrifice sleep so you can look after the children. The quickest way to hide tired eyes is to put a pair of sunglasses on. Sunglasses are a glamorous accessory, so this works in your favor. As you are going to be using sunglasses often, it is worth getting a quality pair. Invest in a pair of designer sunglasses, which will make you look like a star even when you feel like sleeping.

By using these simple tips, you can be a good mother and still look amazing. You shouldn’t let go of your style just because you have children, you just need to adapt it to your new, busy lifestyle.

30 years ago when I was having my kids, I was very young and didn't have much money. Looking like glamor mom wasn't too important. It is nice for a woman to dress, and feel good about themselves at any age. It's easy to get into a rut even just being a housewife.
