I like doing laundry. It’s kind of my thing. When I’m stressed out, I like to do up a load and then fold it. It may be weird but for me it’s therapeutic. I don’t know what kind of berries they are, there’s a Wikipedia article on it if you’re really interested. The berries actually contain a natural kind of soap. You put a few of them in a small cloth bag (No, you don’t have to go find one, they actually give you the little bag), smash them up a little bit (this was kind of fun and again… therapeutic) and run some hot water over them while you are loading your washing machine. When the load is done you just transfer the whole thing to the dryer. The dryer then re-dries out the berries (I suppose you could also just leave the little bag in the washer if you are starting another load right away). I said I was skeptical. But it worked. The very first load came out clean and smelling fresh. And don’t think the dryer is off limits. Are you looking for a natural fabric softener? Can you say wool dryer balls, oh yeah. I’m liking this.
