It’s that time of the month … when we update you on our journey of trying to conceive with the help of Stork OTC. While I am sad to share that we have not yet had the need to take a pregnancy test, I am pleased to share that we are still hopeful, still trying, and we hope to share a new baby announcement with you all in the coming months. Your prayers and well wishes along the way have been appreciated and have not gone unnoticed. From my family to yours, thank you!

The other day I was thinking about the past few months and the journey that we have been taking. I’ve been trying to share tidbits with you and explain how we feel but the truth is my sharing has been more focused on ME versus US; that really isn’t fair of me. I’m not on this emotional rollercoaster alone, my husband has been there with me every step of the way. We go through the highs and the lows and he feels all of the excitement and hurt that I have each month. So today, we are changing the narrative … at least a bit. We’re refocusing if you will. ;)

I remember when we started our journey of trying to conceive. At first when we weren’t successful I started wondering what was wrong with me. Of course I was the one to blame, it had to be all my fault, something had to be wrong with my body. We went to doctors, had tests ran, did the things they told us to do, and still … no baby. After some time and a great deal of discussion, my husband and I agreed that perhaps it was time to take the next step and for him to get tested. I was certain that everything would come back perfect, that once again we would be looking at me to see what my body was doing wrong. Then the test results came back. Male factor infertility. That changed everything.

Did you know that 30-40% of couples experiencing difficulty with getting pregnant have male factor infertility issues? In fact, male infertility is on the rise. Male factor infertility can be caused by a number of health conditions; common issues for men are low sperm count and sperm motility issues. On a positive note, some simple lifestyle changes can help! To up our chances, while my husband continues to work on doing everything that he can to “better” the situation, we are using the Stork OTC home-use device which optimizes our chances of becoming pregnant.  In addition, if your husband has had to go to a clinic to contribute to your journey and found it a little, shall we say “intimidating” the Stork OTC can have a positive effect by allowing him to contribute in the privacy of your home; this reduces stress which is a benefit on a number of levels.

We too, had male factor infertility. Went through numerous cycles. Got pregnant to only miscarry and nothing after that. Had to come to terms to move on, it was hard as friends/family were having kids.
