Sierra Trading Post ~ Don’t Break the Bank on Winter Clothes

by Erik

Every parent knows the drill. It’s back to school time, let’s get the kids to try on all their school clothes to see what fits. Its spring, let’s get the kids to try on all their shorts to see what fits. It’s summer, do the kids have sandals or flip flops? And what do you mean they need more shorts? They fit when we tried them on three months ago!!

Or it’s winter, let’s get the kids to try on their coat and snow pants and boots and gloves and hats and scarves and see what still fits from 7 months ago.

Ha, NOTHING!!

Ok, they don’t really outgrow scarves that fast, but everything else? It’s a never ending cycle. And with winter clothes you can’t really skimp. Spring and summer they can get away with running around barefoot and shirtless. Winter? People tend to frown on that. And you can’t really make your kids stop growing up, as much as we would like sometimes.

So what is a parent supposed to do to get your little ones prepared for winter?

Check out Sierra Trading Post, that’s what.

I love Sierra Trading Post because they do what I do but they do it for me. I like to get bargains when I go shopping. So if I see a shirt that my daughter likes I will look for one that has something wrong with it (something minor like a string or something) and then go argue for it to be marked down due to a defect. Or I wait for closeout or overstock sales to get deals on clothes that a store is trying to get rid of. But now, Sierra trading Post does all that for me. They do all the leg work of finding closeout deals and overstocked items and “irregulars” and then pass that savings on to me.

Sierra Trading Post

Something like the Marmot Starstruck Snow Pants at 60% off.

Sierra Trading Post

Or the North Face Freedom Ski Pants at 50% off.

I like those deals. This is finally going to be the year that we go out to play in the snow and don’t come in soaking wet because we had to layer up in sweatpants and jeans. Do you know how hard it is to find snowpants in February where I live? It’s impossible. Everyone is already stocking up with swimsuits for spring and summer. But that’s what happens when you don’t get any snow until January.

And Sierra Trading Post is making the deal even sweeter right now with Free Shipping on orders over $75 (see restrictions below). I LOVE Free Shipping.

So head on over to Sierra trading Post today to get some sweet winter clothes for your little one (and maybe mom and dad need some too) and get a great deal at the same time.

Sierra Trading Post sounds like a great way to save on winter clothes. We don't really have that issue here in Georgia, but I have family up north who could really use this.

Oh my goodness I was just dreading shopping for my son's Winter clothing! He's grown 3 inches since last Winter. 3 inches! Nothing from Summer fits, let alone Winter! I'll be going through this site with him tonight. And he better not grow again for awhile!

Sierra Trading Post sounds like a great place to get winter clothing for the whole family. I know I could use a good pair of snow pants with the cold winters we have up here. We still go sledding. This I will have to share with my niece too for her three kids. Thanks for sharing the information.

I need to check this out because it is time to get some Winter clothes here in Iowa. My daughter grew out of her clothes from last year and I am a different size as well. We need to head over now!

I haven't heard of sierra trading post. It sounds like a great place to buy winter clothing. WE don't have to use clothes like this in Texas unless we get snow, which happens once or twice a year if we are lucky.

Yup, that time of year. With 5 kids that grow like weeds, clothes are a big part of our budget, especially big ticket items like this.

I can't say that this is a type of shopping I've ever done. I will argue a price though if there is something wrong with it and its the last one!
